Low tide at Whyte Islet
Extending westward into Howe Sound, across from Bowen Island, is Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver. Just to the northeast is Horseshoe Bay and its BC Ferries terminal. Sitting on the rocky shore at Whytecliff Park provides an opportunity to relax and watch seal lions sunning themselves as passenger ferries pass by. At low tide, a short hike over the rocky shore provides easy access to Whytecliff Islet.
