Sandon Brill Trolley Collection
Photo Information: A very high-resolution photograph taken in Sandon, a ghost town in British Columbia’s Kootenays, which hosts the world’s largest collection of Canadian Car-Brill trolley buses. Roughly 15 to 20 of these 1940s-1950s electric vehicles were transported there in the early 2000s for restoration. Despite hopes of preservation, many remain in, or near, a state of decay.
